Salt Theater presented its "movable feast" production of The Cherry Orchard in a wide variety of New York spaces. Performed in galleries, attics, TV studios and a garage, the whole production was conceived as a flexible installation that could move into any space. Sets, costumes, lights and props - collapsed into seven white trunks (which also functioned as the set), and the show travelled in two New York taxicabs.
